This is my very first hand-knitted raglan sweater with textured Aran patterns —
and it’s also the first time I’ve ever created such a design completely on my own 🧶
There was no pattern or tutorial available for top-down Aran raglan sweaters,
but I truly wanted to make it this way.
So I challenged myself to figure it out through trial and error.
In fact, I had already used about 10 balls of yarn before I completely unraveled it and started over from scratch.
There was no one to teach me, and no knitting class I could afford —
just a strong desire to bring this idea to life, stitch by stitch.
This piece holds the warmth of that journey.
If it touches your heart, I would be honored for you to welcome it into your wardrobe 🕊️
